“Grow through what you go through”

The design of this piece features 3 main elements; the spike, the twisted cube, and the cord.

The spike is you. It is the accumulation of all that you know, the direction you are traveling, and the foundation of you. The wide foundation represents all that you’ve inherited from your ancestors, family and friends, environment, and the skills you’ve built throughout your time on Earth. The point is your new direction and dreams; it is thin, in a way weak because it is still forming, but also very sharp, and able to pierce through obstacles in the pursuit of that which you choose. It’s strength comes from the focus of your dreams, and the architecture of your foundation.

The cube is all of your challenges and trials. While we often think of challenges as negative experiences we overcome, they can also be comforts that we step outside of, to grow further. The cube is seemingly solid, shifting, and ever changing, but you can pierce through it as you grow, like a tree root through concrete. These trials then become a part of you as you grow through them. They make you stronger.

The cord is the universe. It holds the spike, the cube and all things, even those unseen; the cord is that unseen force which binds all things together in mysterious unity. Universal energy is both the backdrop for this evolution of you, but also a key player. Without this universal conscious energy, there would be no you, no challenges to go through, nothing at all.

When these 3 parts come together, we see that this piece is a story of you, your experiences, and the universe, working in tandem. Each challenge presented by life strengthens you as you Grow Through it. May this pendant carry your story dutifully.
